The ACRL-LA Academic Librarian Focus Group met at Table “Z” in the Exhibitors Area on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th.

• Scholar Librarian of the Year Award

ACRL-LA is honored to honor Sigrid Kelsey with its first Scholar Librarian of the Year Award. There will be more in the future, so click here to find out more about the award and how to nominate someone!

• ACRL-LA Meet & Greet at LLA

The Academic Section of LLA and the Louisiana Section of ACRL had drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and partook in award presentations. Each registrant received one complimentary beverage, and much cheese and fruit. ACRL-LA honored Sigrid Kelsey with its first Scholar Librarian of the Year Award, and the LLA Academic Section honored David Duggar as the Outstanding Academic Librarian of the Year.
