Hi, folks! It's Megan, chair of the Peer Support Network Initiative! In an effort to make sure folks know what they're getting into when they participate in the peer support program, volunteers (called support providers) will have to fill out and sign a "contract." I am attaching the contract to this message so y'all can see it and comment on it. Before I send it out to the world, I want you guys to have a change to look at it and make suggestions/revisions.

Please take the time to look at the document and ask yourself, "What would I expect from a peer support provider? What am I willing to do as a peer support provider?" It's very important that we are clear on our expectations so that everybody understands the boundaries of the program.

Thanks ahead of time for taking the time to look. You can either post your comments and revisions to the forum or you can email comments and revisions to me directly at lowe@ulm.edu. Thanks!

I've made a few cosmetic changes to the document and am posting it here anew. Please take a look and make suggestions so I can send it out soon. I took a draft copy to LUC in case folks were interested; we've got two confirmed hits already, and another on the way (I think). So please take a look and make comments! Thanks!

I like the new form. Its terms look rather clear.

I removed the attachment from your older post so that people won't get confused, if that's all right.
